It also has exceptional response time at 60Hz and supports VRR. Unlike the Acer Nitro XF243Y Pbmiiprx, this model has a curved VA panel with a 1440p resolution, and it's available in a 27 inch or 32 inch size. If you want a larger model with a higher resolution for better immersion, then check out the Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T. Larger 1440p Alternative: Samsung LC27G75TQSNXZA.

#TURN YOUR MAC INTO A MONITOR FOR XBOX ONE 1080P#
On the whole, although its compact screen size and 1080p resolution might not be the most immersive, it's an excellent monitor that should please most people nonetheless. Color accuracy is excellent out of the box however, this may vary between individual units. You can add a virtual crosshair on the screen, and in addition to having a flicker-free backlight, it has a feature to filter out blue light, which helps reduce eye strain. Unfortunately, there are very few extra features. It supports HDR, but sadly this doesn't add much, as it can't get very bright, it can't display a wide color gamut, and it has a low contrast ratio. It has great peak brightness in SDR and good reflection handling, so glare shouldn't be an issue, and it has wide viewing angles, so you can comfortably share your screen with someone else, but it's a bit small, so you might not want to. It supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology, resulting in a nearly tear-free gaming experience, great for games that can't deliver a consistent frame rate. It has an exceptional response time, low input lag, and a high refresh rate. It's an excellent gaming monitor with a 24 inch, 1080p screen. The best monitor for Xbox One that we've tested is the Acer Nitro XF243Y Pbmiiprx.

It supports FreeSync, is compatible with G-SYNC, and has HDMI 2.1 inputs, which means it supports 4k 120Hz gaming. It has an amazingly low input lag, a near-instantaneous response time, and a Black Frame Insertion feature that further improves motion clarity.

If you want a monitor with a bigger screen than the Dell S2721QS, then you're better off with a TV like the LG OLED48CXPUB. Overall, although it's not the most advanced gaming monitor available, it delivers a great experience all around that should please most people. The one we bought has surprisingly decent black uniformity though, which can be more distracting than low contrast to some people, but this varies between units. Unfortunately, due to the IPS panel, the Dell isn't as well-suited for gaming at night in a dark room, as it has a low contrast ratio. It's not that bright in HDR though, so it can't deliver a very impactful HDR experience. It has superb gradient handling, an outstanding SDR color gamut, and it can display a wide color gamut when gaming in HDR. It has great peak brightness and very good reflection handling, so glare shouldn't be an issue in a bright room. Picture quality is important when gaming, too, and it doesn't disappoint. It's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, which might be disappointing if you prefer gaming at a lower resolution and higher refresh rate, but it's a great choice for playing atmospheric games like RPGs. Although designed for office use, it's a very good gaming monitor as well, with a good response time, amazing low input lag, and FreeSync variable refresh rate support. It's a great budget 4k monitor with wide viewing angles, good ergonomics, and a large screen. The best 4k monitor for Xbox One X that we've tested is the Dell S2721QS.
